Where else can a person from their living room or bed, hop online and instantly connect to people from around the world all with a similar hobby? Where else could I talk with my friend overseas and at the same time play him in a game of basketball? Other then a video game console, what other electronic allows you to one second stream a movie, the next listen to streaming radio stations and then later accept a game invite to play with a sibling? This is all only possible with video game consoles. People who don’t game don’t understand how much more this world has become over the past few years.
Basically all the media I could want past favorite TV shows premiering the night of are accessible. Even then many TV shows are available for download a little bit after they air. Along with a stack of favorite multiplayer games, my Xbox 360 has music, images and movies stored on the hard drive. All of this in one place is hard to ignore even to people who don’t like gaming.
