nintendo ds lite

Three days ago I came home from work to find that my daughter had left her Nintendo DS Lite on the front porch. At first I thought she'd left it on the porch because she was playing and wanted to run in and get something to drink or because she needed to go to the restroom, but when I went inside, I found out that she wasn't even home. She'd left me a note that she was going to one of our neighbor’s homes and that she'd be back in time for dinner. I can't begin to express how annoyed I was that she'd left the Nintendo DS Lite on the porch and sitting in the sun. She had completely forgotten it. I grabbed the Nintendo DS Lite and at first returned it to her bedroom and tossed it on the bed, but then I turned around and picked up the Nintendo DS Lite and took it to my bedroom instead. I put it in the drawer on my dresser beside my bed, and I was not going to mention the Nintendo DS Lite so I could see if my daughter would even miss it. My husband has told me time and time again that the kids are too spoiled and that they don't value the gifts that we give them, but I've always said he was wrong. After seeing the abandoned Nintendo DS Lite, I was starting to think that maybe he was right.

We'd given both children a DS for Christmas. I'd found them for a great price at Bolluck Mall whose online store can be found by visiting www.bolluckmall.com/ and I couldn't resist getting one for both of them. Our son only plays with his in his bedroom and always cleans up his games and such when he's finished. Obviously, that isn't the case with our daughter.

The night I found the Nintendo DS Lite it rained and our daughter never mentioned it. Now here it is three days later and she still hasn't asked if anyone has seen her Nintendo DS Lite. One thing is for sure and that is that more than likely she won't be getting it back. In fact, last night I pulled out the Nintendo DS Lite and started playing a little myself and I found it to be quite fun. Who knows, maybe I'll just keep it for myself, especially since our daughter doesn't seem to notice its missing.
