I know that there are newer video game consoles out there, like the PS3 and the Xbox 360, not to mention the Wii video game console. However, did you know that you can actually play many PS2 games on your PS3 console? That’s right—the makers of the PS3 realized that when they released this video game console there were many avid gamers such as I that had amassed a pretty hefty collection of PS2 games, and now we had to start all over again with a new console. However, they assured that we would not be let down by adding a crossover feature called backwards compatibility to the console. This really cool feature allows you to play many of the older PS2 games on your newer PS3 game console; sweet! So what that means for me is that I can still shop around online and find some really grand deals on my favorite PS2 games and still play them on my new PS3 console – and there are just some PS2 games that they don’t make for the PS3 that still ROCK!
