multiplayer game, video game consoleOne of my friends since a teen has been doing track days on his motorcycle. He came from a family birthed from motorcycles. Over a decade of practice on actual racetracks has made him lighting quick. I know I would never be able to outpace him in an actual race but there is one place I can safely take the top podium, multiplayer games. There is actually a new motorcycle racing game nearing release. That will be my next video game console purchase. For the time being, I have an older racer, which my friend also has. If he were over at the house, then we would play split screen but more times then not, we meet online.

Multiplayer games make it much easier to compete especially when racing. Split screen is fun but leaves a smaller screen to look at. When we play online multiplayer games, it is all there and we can’t watch each other’s line. Even in a video game, I can tell he understands race lines better then me. It is all about hitting Apex and shifting at the right moment. When I do get it right, he better be ready to lose.
