I have a doctor’s appointment this morning and I’ve packed my Nintendo DS lite in order to entertain myself while waiting.  I don’t know about you, but one thing I can’t stand is sitting in the waiting room at the doctor’s office for an hour or so after your appointment time.  I use to read the magazines, but after I ordered my son a Nintendo DS lite for his birthday from my favorite online store, I figured I could bring it along and at least play some of my favorite games.

One thing I’ll have to remember to do is turn off the sound for the Nintendo DS lite before I go into the doctor’s office. The last thing I need is to be sitting there playing some Mario and all of a sudden the sound blasts through the waiting room and I find that all eyes are on me and the Nintendo DS lite. Now that would be embarrassing.  Hopefully I won’t have to wait long, and I will be in and out within a half hour.  I wonder if someone would consider that wishful thinking?
