I think my children are just about as sick of hearing about football as I am. In fact, two days ago, they both came to me while I was cooking dinner to ask if they could have another game for their new video game console. When I asked them about the multiplayer game that I'd given them right after Christmas, they said they'd already played it to the end, and since they only had one other game to go with their video game console, that they were bored.

I could definitely understand that, since the weekends had been filled with one football game after another. Usually their dad takes them to rent a few games so they can test them out before we buy them, but since he's been so absorbed with the Super Bowl and who's going to be there, he hasn't done that. I actually felt sorry for them, especially since I've been working overtime and haven't had much time to spend with them either, so I asked them if they had a particular game in mind. Both of their faces lit up and I could tell that they considered this a battle won. They felt that they would get a game for the video game console, and truth is they were right. They both told me about a multiplayer game that they'd played at their cousin’s house and loved, so I told them I'd see what I could do.

I know that once the Super Bowl has passed and football season is over, that things will change around here, but I also know they don't have many games, so I figured another multiplayer game for their video game console couldn't hurt.
