Maybe I Could Learn to Relax with the Nintendo DS Lite |

A few nights ago, there was absolutely nothing on the television but re-runs and I had just finished reading the last book that I had in the house. The children were asleep and my husband was on the night shift, and I was feeling a little restless. I noticed that my son had left his new Nintendo DS Lite on the coffee table, and at first I was a little frustrated, because he'd promised when we gave him the Nintendo DS Lite that he would keep it along with his Nintendo video games picked up and put away. Sitting beside it was also several of his Nintendo video games, and after the initial feeling of frustration, I decided to pick up the Nintendo DS Lite and play with it for a little while.
I'll admit I've never been much of a gamer. I've always been more of an academic person and tend to enjoy the arts and creativity, but gaming is not my thing. I have always thought there were so many things a person could do with their time than spending hours on end playing things like the Nintendo DS Lite, but since I was sitting here and had nothing to do, I figured I'd give it a try. After figuring out where the on switch was, and figuring out how to get a game in the Nintendo DS Lite, I was finally able to start playing the game.
I was surprised, when we bought our son a great Nintendo DS Lite that I found at Bolluck Mall whose online store can be found by visiting www.bolluckmall.com/, I never expected that I would be playing it and actually enjoying myself. I wouldn't admit this to many people in my everyday life, but I spend the next three hours playing a silly game on the Nintendo DS Lite and I actually enjoyed myself. Once I finally went to bed that night, I woke up the next morning thinking that maybe I could get one of those brain training games for the Nintendo DS Lite and that it would be something that could keep my brain young, plus it would be fun and serve a purpose. I told my husband about it, and he said that I didn't need to be so hard on myself, that I needed to learn to kick back and have a good time and not be so stressed. Maybe he's right, and maybe the Nintendo DS Lite is the perfect way to do that. |
