multiplayer game, video game consoleI get a text from a buddy around 1 PM that says, “get your video game console online, I’m going to be playing so and so game for an endurance session today.” At this point, I was working and just from the text could tell he was enjoying the day off with online multiplayer games. After finishing up work and eating it was 5 pm and I signed on. There he was into what must have been his 50th multiplayer game match. He had already created a party of three friends and the list kept growing after I joined. On came a mutual friend then my brother then a friend of a friend I met for a moment after challenged online.

The crazy thing is how many gamers friend each other online, become comrades but never see each other face to face. The endurance session continued for a couple more hours until my eyes felt like they were falling out of my head. It was a show of first person shooter might as our five man squad ran through the competition. Tactically communicating for a FPS multiplayer game goes a long way. Game on!
