nintendo ds lite

It's starting to look as though we're going to have to figure out something else to do for Easter now that my daughter appears to be too old for the Easter egg hunt we usually do. This year both kids got games for their Nintendo DS Lite, but when it came time for the kids go outside to hunt eggs, my 8 year old grabbed the new game and her Nintendo DS Lite and followed us outside without her basket. When I asked her what she was going to use to put her eggs in that she found during the hunt, she informed me that she was too old to hunt eggs and that she'd rather play the new Nintendo DS Lite game. She sat down at the picnic table and proceeded to do just that.

A little while later, my husband asked her if she was sick because she wasn't out hunting the eggs with everyone else, and she informed him of the same thing, that she was too old to be hunting Easter eggs and that she was having fun with her new Nintendo DS Lite game. The egg hunt is something that we've always done with the kids, but I admit that I felt a little guilty because everyone else was hunting eggs and our daughter was playing with the Nintendo DS Lite. She seemed content to do so, but I couldn't help but wonder if she was bored.

Later that evening, I asked her if she had a good day and she really seemed to. She said she had a great time and that she loved the new Nintendo DS Lite game that we'd given her in her Easter basket, and that she was already on one of the more advanced levels. I hugged her, and let her know that if she wanted to play with the Nintendo DS Lite for a little while before bed, she could, but not to forget to turn it out when she was done.

After talking to her, my concerns were laid to rest that she was bored. She seemed content with the Nintendo DS Lite and the new game we got her at Bolluck Mall whose online store can be found by visiting www.bolluckmall.com. I did mention to my husband that maybe next year we could try to plan something a little more than just the Easter egg hunt, so that she wouldn't spend the entire day playing with the Nintendo DS Lite. I guess our little ones are growing up and we can't keep them babies forever.
