Birthday Party Themed After His Favorite Multiplayer Game |

This coming weekend is my son's 10th birthday and his one wish was to have a video game related party. I wasn't sure exactly what that would entail, but I was determined to make it a great day for both my son and all his friends. The first thing I did was check out a new multiplayer game that I knew the kids would like. I ordered it and another multiplayer game from Bolluck Mall whose online store can be found by visiting www.bolluckmall.com and they should arrive in the next day or so. The first multiplayer game that I found was one that my son has wanted for a while, and also one of his favorites, so I decided to theme the entire party around that particular multiplayer game. I had the cutest cake made that I designed myself and then took the drawing and idea to the bakery who promised me they can create the exact design based on this particular multiplayer game.
From there, I was able to create a few other little things, such as goodie bags and other things that are all centered on the multiplayer game. Friday evening I'll move the TV in the guest room out onto the sun porch, plus my best friend is bringing over her TV, game console and the same multiplayer game so that two groups of kids can all be playing the game at the same time. The person who has the most points at the end will win a prize, and I know that all of the kids are going to be thrilled with this party. I don’t think my son or any of his friends have ever been to a birthday party centered on a multiplayer game, so this will be something new for them all, and also a wish come true for my son.
The great thing is I haven't shared anything about the video game theme with him, so he doesn't have any idea that I've pulled it off, or that it happens to be centered on his favorite multiplayer game. Once he walks into the sun room on Saturday, he's going to flip when he sees the decorations and then when I pull the cake out so that we can sing happy birthday to him, it's going to be a huge surprise. I can't wait to see the look on his face, and also to see how he and the other kids react to this great theme. I know they're going to love it. |
