This is Why I Buy Video Game Console Titles Online |

Earlier in the week one of the most anticipated racers available on all the major video game consoles hit store shelves. Need for Speed: Shift looks to be tons of fun. The key word here is looks. On release day, I went down to a local game store to pick up a copy. Normally I would have just pre-ordered online but I was eating near one so I just popped in. Walking up to the store front, pictures of Shift adorned portions of the glass window and my heartbeat started to raise. I was pumped to bring this sucker home. I get in there, stand in line behind three younger kids, parents milling around off to the side when I hear the salesclerk say, “Lucky day buddy, this is the last one.” At that second, it didn’t register. Then I noticed what box he was holding.
After standing in line for a few minutes myself and the kid in front of me were turned away, heads hanging low because the store sold out of Shift. What I love about online video game console stores is there always in stock of new titles. Pre-ordering makes the experience even more convenient. Now I’m sitting here writing this waiting for a video game console title I should have had days ago. Word to the wise, online is the way to go for video game console anything.
