Nintendo Multiplayer Games have Saved the Day! |

When preparing for a family road trip I try to cover all bases with lots of activities for the kids. I think the busier they are the better and the frequently asked question: "Are we there yet?" will be heard less often! I am sure you have been there too!
Along with the old fashioned activity books I make sure the kids pack their IPODs and the Nintendo multiplayer games. These games have saved the day and the entire road trip for that matter on many occasions!
I especially like the multiplayer games because it allows my children to interact with each other and keeps them busy for hours. Sometimes a disagreement will occur but with a little refereeing the kids are back at the multiplayer games.
I also have found a disciplinary tool in the multiplayer games. If the kids get too wound up over a particular game or disagreement I can easliy put the game to rest for a while. The kids quickly learn what it was like to travel in the "old days!" That is when the activity books come out or even an attempt at a game of name something beginning with an A, B, C, etc. as you see things passing by on the road. |
