I am raising my three step-grandchildren and all of them are totally nuts about video game console games. My youngest step-grandson Dominic is celebrating his sixth birthday later this week and his dad took him over the weekend and threw him a little party. I am pleased that little Dominic has a new Nintendo DS Lite for two reasons. First of all both of his older siblings already have the DS video console and they were not always generous about letting their little brother use it. Now that he has his own he needn’t rely on their generosity. I am also pleased that Dom got a Nintendo DS Lite for his birthday because it has made it easier to shop for small gifts for his stocking this Christmas.
Actually I have already purchased Dominic a new game for his Nintendo DS Lite and I will give him it at Christmas.
