There are still so many great PS2 games that I love to play, and to boot, on my PS3 console. That’s because the makers of the PS3 really thought ahead when they designed these consoles, and they made certain to allow for backwards compatibility. What that means is that you can easily play a wide variety of different PS2 games on your PS3 console. That was a real money saver for me when I first started playing games on my PS3, because after splurging for the console – which I got a great deal for online, by the way – I didn’t have all that many dollars left with which to purchase the games that I desired. And, furthermore, there were still many PS2 games that I still cherished greatly. However, these days, even though I have plenty of PS3 games now in my collection, I still find that from time to time I am playing PS2 games that are older and still just as the awesome as the day I opened the packaging on them!
