<--Example of Jump Rope Exercise

I never thought I’d see the day when a nationwide gym would sponsor a video game console title let alone using video games to workout. That was until Nintendo consoles reinvented the wheel or should I say controller. This is a company who has strived hard to stay in front of the game controller curve. From the Nintendo DS Lite to the Wii, the company has managed to rethink what is possible in today’s video game market.

Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout
, released today works off the same platform as Wii Fit but with a tweaked premise. Created by Ubisoft, this title will work gamers into fighting shape with cardio boxing, running and sit up exercises. Another feature this Nintendo video game console title brings is the ability to track calories burned and weight lost over time. Like any other game, the levels will increase in difficulty as more sweat soaks the shirt. I don’t believe there are any multiplayer games on Cardio Workout though.

No more can parents complain about kids not getting enough exercise when gaming out. I look forward to hearing reviews on this title. I assume Ubisoft did a great job bringing the gym to living rooms worldwide.
