Digital Cat Calls and Multiplayer Games |

Cat calls and multiplayer games are not generally used in the same sentence but hear me out. Online gaming is huge. There were over 2 million people playing Call of Duty: World at War on any given day over this past weekend. Multiplayer games are what drive sales today. With all those gamers interacting online you can bet some of them are female. I emphasize some. There is hardly a time when a girl is playing that some dude will not blurt out a bad pick up line or x-rated joke.
The video game console and title in use has a direct correlation with the harshness of any given virtual cat call. Any shooter garners the harshest guy on girl attacks. Just today, I heard a mother of three (she told us) solicited for unmentionable acts in turn she responded with a joke but not all girls take it so well. Nintendo is working hard to break the stigma of cat calls with women heavy commercials (see video) reaching out to girls who want to enjoy multiplayer games in peace. The Nintendo DS Lite may be the only option for a g-rated girl gaming experience.
