ps2 games, video game consoleSome people may think that I am ‘old school’ because I still own and regularly play many of the older video game consoles like the PS2. I have always loved playing video games, especially multiplayer games, and PS2 games will always have a dear place in my heart. I am sure that you might be wondering why I still love playing PS2 games when a newer Sony video game console (the PS3) has been out for a few years. The answer is actually rather simple. There are some PS2 games that they don’t make for the PS3, games that will never probably cross over but games that I have grown so fond of that I can’t imagine not being able to play them. Games like the original God of War will never debut on the PS3 because the new God of War has been released, but there are many facets of that game that scream brilliance. Another thing that I love about older PS2 games are the skateboarding games like Tony Hawk – which are an entirely different experience on the newer consoles. So perhaps it makes me old school to still play these games. But then again, I still own one of the original Nintendo consoles as well.
