Laying Knee with PS2 Games |

The motorcycle racing genre is definitely a niche market for hardcore bike and race enthusiasts. A classic available on multiple video game consoles is MotoGP 08. This Capcom title takes fans to the fastest on two wheel race circuit the world has ever known. Instead of racing modded street models of motorcycles the large manufactures like Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Ducati spend millions of dollars on research and development on prototype 230+ HP bikes specially for MotoGP. The difference between jumping on a stock 08 CBR 1000 RR and Honda’s GP bike is light years apart. Even with four plus years riding street a GP bike send me to the pavement within 5 seconds. Feeling the speed through PS2 games is a lot safer.
PS2 games today are super cheap. I saw an ad for MotoGP 08 for 20 dollars. That’s the cost of a few rounds of lazer tag or three beers at the bar. It’s hard to say no when something costs 20 dollars especially when PS2 games play for months worth of fun. MotoGP 08 takes some serious gaming to beat. This is a true racing simulator through and through. Multiple race classes like 125cc and 250cc are also available in game.
