video game consoleMy family is no different from most households within the US in that there are multiple video game consoles. We do not use our game consoles every day during the warm summer months. Instead we spend most of our spare time outside enjoying the weather in various ways. However we definitely use of our video game consoles when the weather is cold outside. Last weekend we used our video game consoles even more than we usually do. About two feet of snow fell in just a couple of days, which is unusual for this part of Maryland. We couldn’t really go anywhere during a blizzard so we had to say home. We all played with our video game consoles extensively and this helped pass the time. I made quite a bit progress with a video game I have been playing for the past month or so. My step-grandson Rick thinks that this particular game is really cool but at the same time rather difficult. So he was really impressed at how much progress I made and he now thinks I am the coolest grandmother around. Video game consoles definitely help keep boredom at bay when the weather doesn’t cooperate.
