In this post, I bring you another upcoming Wii Nintendo consoles title to be played in the wee hours of the night. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories by itself sounds creepy. Konami and Climax Studios are working very hard at making the things that go bump in the night shine through with the latest installment of Silent Hill. Categorized as an action-horror game, this installment takes gamers through a remastered version of the original centered on Harry Mason.

The story picks up after Harry crashes his vehicle in a snowstorm in the town of Silent Hill. After coming to, Mason realizes his daughter is gone. Frantic and scared he goes on a search through the horrifying city and that when things get nuts. The graphics are said to be looking fantastic, gameplay smooth and story solid. It sounds like it has all the makings to become a Nintendo consoles action-horror classic. A solid release date is still in the works but it looks like Shattered Memories will come out sometime in the third quarter of 2009.
